At Paragon it is in Secondary that the wholesome adult of Integrity, Professionalism, Culture and Excellence is created an individual who will be a Leader, Linguist, Innovator and Knowledgeable.   

Primary to Secondary is a life mile stare and the School has a Transition program aims to provide students with a easy shift between Primary and Secondary.

In their final term in the Primary Years, the School hosts a Transition Week for current Year 6s, as well as inviting those joining Paragon Academy from other schools. As part of this action-packed Week, students tour the Secondary School grounds and classrooms, spend time with their future teachers and participate in lessons which give them a sneak peek into Secondary. The transition Paragon also includes counselling time management and social etiquette.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

As a time of growth, development and self-discovery, Year 7 and 8 gives students a firm foundation for Secondary education. With opportunities to explore a variety of learning experiences and subjects, students are encouraged to find and pursue their interests, discover their own strengths and build effective techniques for learning. Couser guidance session will assist them with choice for Year 9-11 subjects and University options

An exposure to a broad curriculum provides students with an opportunity to have a taste of everything before they can eventually make their choice of subjects at higher levels insigh. Studies at this point prepare students for studies at IGCSE level.

Students in Years 10 and 11 [IGCSE] have to study English, Mathematics, and either Swahili or French as their core subjects. Elective subjects include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, History, English Literature, Economics, Accounting, Business Studies, Art and Design, Music, ICT, Computer Science and PE. Students select subjects that will lead them to their future studies and those that they excel in. Students are expected to study eight subjects and, in their choices, they must have subjects from different groups (Mathematics, English, Foreign Language, Science, Humanities. We will ensue Pupils receive a rich educational experience through appropriate adventure, research, exchange programs projects and conferences.
